General manager

Fernando Barrio holds a Master in Law and Shipping Business as well as in Risk Management. From 1985 to 2019 he worked in Maritime Transport as a Director and Underwriter of Mapfre and Royal and Sun Alliance Insure Plc S.A. Since January 2019 he has been working for Names Agencia de Suscripción, S.L. as General Director and Underwriter Manager.

Senior underwritter

Jordi Pozo has a Degree in Nautical Sciences and Maritime Transport (UPC), Merchant Marine Deck officer and Master Degree in Management of Insurance and Financial Entities (UB). After a seafaring experience, he has been working in the Marine and Aviation Insurance sector for more than 25 years, with several responsibilities including Marine and Aviation Director in Generali and Portfolio Manager in RSA.

Senior Underwriter

Borja holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University (UCM) and an LLM in International Maritime Law from Swansea University. He has worked in the marine insurance sector for more than 7 years, joining Names in April 2022.

Senior Underwriter

Marcos has a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of León (ULE). He is accredited as a Professional Insurance Mediator Group A by the National Distance Education University (UNED) and holds a Master’s degree in Maritime Law and Business from the University of Comillas and the Spanish Maritime Institute (IME). For several years, he has worked in the area of General Insurance, specializing in Maritime Insurance in recent years. He first worked in the claims department and later in the underwriting department.

Underwriting Assistant

Beatriz joins NAMES in March 2022 as an underwriting assistant. For years she has worked in companies from different sectors in back office, both in billing, accounting and collection management.

Back Office

Laura joined NAMES in February 2017 as an underwriting assistant. Specialised in Administration and Accounting, throughout her professional career she has worked as an administrative assistant developing tasks of the administration and accounting departments in companies from different sectors. She currently holds the position of Back Office coordinating the administrative and issuance management of NAMES.

Finance

Javier holds a degree in Economics from the University of La Coruña, a Master’s degree in Professional Insurance Management from ICEA and has worked in a non-life insurance company for 12 years as head of the Risk Management function. He is a keen golfer.

Accountant

Graduated in Public Accounting from the Santiago de Cali University (Colombia), graduated with honors for academic merit, experience of more than 10 years in the accounting and administrative sector.

Office Manager

Four months in Names in the accounting department. Bachillerato mixto by the CasviIinternational School, FP superior in Finance and Administration by the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid, Mediador de seguros a by the College of insurance mediators of Madrid.
